Best Tips And Practices For Maximum Detox Results


As you make your way through this week-long express detox plan, you will begin to notice a great shift in your body. Many of my clients experience higher levels of energy, improved focus, less bloating and distension and yes - even a decrease in body fat. In order to experience the full potential of these results, apply the following tips and practices to your 7-Day Detox plan:

1. Drink water: Aim to drink three litres of water daily. This will help move the lymph and support kidney detoxification. You may also drink herbal detox teas and coffee during your detoxification plan. If you consume unnatural or liver depressing fluids such as alcohol, energy drinks or sugary sports drinks, it’s good practice to reduce or eliminate the intake of these fluids for maximum results to be reached.

2. Eat mindfully: Aim to avoid foods that contain added sugars, high fructose corn syrup, preservatives, or other foreign chemicals. If you consume alcohol, reducing your intake is strongly recommended. For best results during the detox period, try to incorporate as many whole (or raw) foods as possible. This means foods that are grown from the earth (fresh pro- duce) or raised responsibly (grass-fed meats or cage-free eggs for example) are the ideal choices. The cleaner your diet, the greater your detox results will be.

3. Get active: To enhance detoxification results during this plan, aim to get at least 10 minutes of activity in a day. Light exercise increases lymph flow and circulation to help sweat out toxins. A brisk walk, hike or bike ride are excellent examples of how to increase your daily activity level.
